Kickoff for the 2026 Scotia Bowl Provincial Championships

Football Nova Scotia is pleased to unveil this year’s Scotia Bowl Provincial Championship schedule.

Over a three-week span, players and coaches from the atom, peewee and bantam divisions will compete in the hopes to take some hardware home.

Halifax’s Mainland Commons - City Turf will host the first two weekends of competition. The action begins with bantam and peewee teams taking to the field on October 29, 2026. During the second weekend of the playoffs, atom teams will join the bantam and peewee divisions, with competition beginning Saturday, November 7, 2026.

Acadia University’s Raymond Field will host Championship Weekend, scheduled for November 13-15, 2026.

This year marks a major milestone for the Scotia Bowl Provincial Championships, as the tournament celebrates its fifth consecutive year. Anticipation is already building as teams prepare to compete at a high level in Halifax and Wolfville over the coming weeks.

“Reaching five years of the Scotia Bowl Provincial Championships is an important milestone for football in Nova Scotia,” said Karen Ouellette, Executive Director of Football Nova Scotia. “The Scotia Bowl is about much more than the games played on the field. It represents the dedication of our athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, fans and families who help make minor football such an important part of communities across the province.

“These championships give young athletes the opportunity to compete, build confidence, develop lifelong skills and create lasting memories with their teammates. As we celebrate this milestone, there is tremendous excitement for the next three weeks as teams from across Nova Scotia come together to compete for provincial championships. We look forward to seeing the passion, sportsmanship and community spirit that make the Scotia Bowl such a special event each year.”
